Since 3 years I own a Glock 17L. I use it for rapid precision fire, I’m one of the highest ranking competitors in the club. My glock is up against Tanfoglio’s that cost at least twice as much (limited custom, Gold match).
I tuned it thoroughly with THE Most important thing: COMPLETE PYRAMID TRIGGER set; a heavy magwel, and tungsten guide rod.
The trigger makes the difference and will turn your working horse into a luxury car.

I have owned my Glock 17L since 1990 ( service pistol CAF, its old now but I use it almost weekly since the time I bought it. Finally my recoil spring broke, actually it became an uncaptured spring. He to but some replacement part and maybe a few upgrades.

I have had this thing for about 8 months now and I can’t believe how much I love it. I compete in the Glock indoor league local, at least now and then, but I am no slouch having shot multiple 500s, or perfect scores. I average about 490 with my custom built G34, shooting the same course of fire, the 17L, in stock trim has pushed that to almost 495 with more than a few 500s mixed in. I don’t compete with it for the simple reason that it puts me in a different league level and there are not enough 17Ls to make up a group to compete with! yes, I feel they are that good, and the people I shoot with agree, it is like leagle cheating!
