Buy DDM4® PDW (300 BLACKOUT) – Compact and easy to transport, the Daniel Defense DDM4 PDW is the kind of pistol you can rely on for home and personal defense…plus it’s a ton of fun to shoot. The 7″ 300BLK cold hammer forged barrel keeps subsonic loads subsonic and provides great ballistics for a shorter barrel. The DDM4 PDW, with an overall length of 20.75”, comes equipped with the Maxim Defense CQB Pistol Brace, which gives you the adjustments needed to more comfortably shoot your AR pistol. This highly maneuverable pistol comes with a 6″ MFR XL flat front rail for fast handling, accuracy, and reliability while also providing compatibility with a wide variety of accessories. The DDM4 PDW features M-LOK attachment points and an SLR M-LOK MOD2 Plain Front Handstop to help ensure a safe shooting experience. Also available as SBR with Maxim Defense CQB Gen 7 stock.

- Linear compensator directs muzzle blast forward of the shooter. Muzzle threads (5/8-24) allow for muzzle device customization
- Independently ambi GRIP-N-RIP Charging Handle accommodates left- and right-handed shooters and is engineered for suppressed fire, with anti-gas features that redirect gas flow upward and away from the face and operator.

I have many guns, this one right here is by far my favorite to shoot. It just feels perfect! Little kick back, stays on target, perfectly balanced, and perfect size. I love this gun… I can put it in my backpack, and it’s good to go. This is absolutely the best gun I have ever purchased, the only problem is now what to do with the others…

WOW! That was my initial reaction with the 1st trigger pull. After owning a couple months and additional two-hundred rounds later the wow factor remains intact. My brother being a gun enthusiast, state trooper, and career military reservist summed it up well after firing through a mag, “this is my favorite AR I’ve ever shot.” I haven’t taken it past 50 yards, but surprisingly shot groupings matched what I’m able to achieve with my 16” barrel DDM4V4 at that distance. The linear compensator surpassed my expectations diverting percussion away and muzzle flash was imperceptible late afternoon on an overcast day, as well as an indoor range with good lighting, again to my surprise given the 7” barrel. The PDW has fed through both subsonic and supersonic rounds out of fully loaded mags without a hiccup as expected from a DD product. The build quality and attention to detail in the craftsmanship is second to none down to the small perfect circular oil residue patterns it arrived with around the takedown pins. In addition to making a fantastic firearm, DD’s customer service is phenomenal and their support to military and first responders is commendable. Can’t recommend the PDW and DD as a whole strongly enough!

This is the second DD I have bought. This pistol is amazing. So well balanced and feels amazing when shooting. I love the quality put into this gun. I have shot several rounds through it with no problems at all. Would recommend to any avid shooter. Suppression is a must for this weapon, even better balance and just feels right in your arms.

I recently had my first opportunity to take my new DDM4 PDW to the range. What a blast! (Literally!). The only thing preventing me from staying longer was I ran out of ammo… The weapon was very accurate and even right out of the box, I did not have a single misfeed. This was a great purchase. If you’re thinking of pulling the trigger, do it. You will love this PDW!
